Soulbox series is a continuation of the study of portraits and emotional states and facial expressions produced by the human face driven by these conditions. The name itself comes from the desire to be able to add to human soul a tangible figure and thus present a picture of the emotional experience of the human spirit. Paintings made on the basis of a series of photographs, represent the soul in the box, trapped, and the emotions that permeate through the given situation. Emotional states that are interwoven throughout this series of images of suffering, pain, anger, despair, and so on, are thinking about the state of human spirituality in times of transient material goods and consumer obsession with consumerism and the reality of modern man.
